Across the nation, veterans and military service members find life-changing support and care through the U.S. Department of Veterans Services.

In 2025, the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System has expanded services at the Akron VA Clinic Infusion Center, broken ground on a new clinic in Ravenna and brought care right to veterans in Youngstown using the Ohio Justice Bus.

Now, the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is getting ready to start developing a new outpatient clinic in East Liverpool for veterans.

The northeast Ohio team approved Downing Construction Company’s bid for the new clinic.

It’ll be behind the Walmart Supercenter on McGuffy Drive, just a few miles away from the existing VA clinic in Calcutta, located at 15655 State Route 170 in Suite A.
