Alternate route available to Eastwood Mall complex during nearby road closures
During a major road closure, the Eastwood Mall Complex is providing shoppers with a list of alternate routes to ensure easy access to the complex while the closure is in effect.
The ramp from State Route 82 West to State Route 46 in Howland Township will be closed through late August while crews are reconstructing the interchange.
It’s part of the ongoing diverging diamond interchange project by the Ohio Department of Transportation in Trumbull County estimated to be completed by fall of 2026.
The Eastwood Mall Complex has compiled suggested detours for drivers heading into Howland.
If drivers are traveling into the area heading westbound on Route 82:
• Turn left onto Niles-Vienna Road. Follow it to Route 422, turn right, and continue to the Eastwood Mall Complex.
• Turn left onto Howland-Wilson Road. Turn right onto Howland Springs Road .Turn left onto Route 46 and proceed south to the Eastwood Mall Complex.
• Proceed past Route 46 and exit at East Market Street. Turn left onto North Road and follow it south to Route 422. Turn left on Route 422 and proceed to the Eastwood Mall Complex.
If drivers are traveling into the area heading northbound from Route 11, it’s suggested to exit onto Tibbetts Wick Road and turn left. Follow Tibbetts Wick to Route 422, turn right, and proceed north to the Eastwood Mall Complex.
