A family-owned restaurant with over 50 years of history in the Mahoning Valley received a warm welcome after expanding operations with a third location.

The third Uptown Pizza opened in August at 1651 Sputh Raccoon Road in Austintown.

“It’s been a journey getting here, and we’re so thankful for everyone who’s stopped in already,” owners wrote on Facebook. “We’re proud to be part of this community and can’t wait to serve you for years to come. Thank you for the warm welcome – we’re just getting started.”

Try pizza, subs, Italian entrees, wedding soup and signature daily specials like The Little Joe at Uptown Pizza, one of Austintown’s newest restaurant.

The new shop is open from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday, and closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Uptown Pizza is also open at 6041 Market St. in Boardman and at 2940 Belmont Ave. in Liberty Township.

In 2023, the Santisi family took over ownership from father-daughter owners Mark and Starr Campbell, according to their social media.

Uptown Pizza was first started 50 years ago, and the recipes have stayed true to the original for decades.

“We’re honored to carry the Uptown name forward,” owners said.
