The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced the following new and continuing traffic impacts for the week of October 13 in Mahoning and Trumbull County.

Mahoning County

Interstate 680 noise wall installation I-680 northbound has occasional lane restrictions from just north of US 224 to SR 170. Estimated completion, late November 2025.

US 224 bridge replacement, Canfield Township US 224 over I-76/Ohio Turnpike is reduced to one lane in each direction through fall 2026 for a bridge replacement being performed by the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission.

State Route 7 intersection improvement, Boardman Township SR 7 at Indianola Rd./Shields Rd. has various lane restrictions for intersection improvements. Estimated completion, June 2026.

State Route 11 pavement repairs, Austintown Township NEW IMPACT – Beginning Monday, October 13, SR 11 between Mahoning Ave. and I-80 will have various lane restrictions through Friday, October 17, for pavement repairs.

State Routes 14 & 165 resurfacing & bridge repairs, Village of Beloit; Goshen, Green & Smith Townships The following routes have various lane restrictions for resurfacing: • SR 14 between the Portage County line and Columbiana County line. • SR 165 from the northern Beloit Corporation limit to SR 14. Estimated completion, late October 2025.

State Route 170 pavement reconstruction, Village of New Middletown & Springfield Township SR 170 southbound is closed from SR 630/Calla Rd. to Woodland Dr. through Wednesday, October 15. The detour is SR 617 to SR 165 to SR 626 to SR 7 to US 224 to SR 170. Estimated completion, late October 2025.

McGaffney Rd., resurfacing, Lowellville McGaffney Rd., River Rd., Washington St. and Jackson Ave. from the eastern Lowellville Corporation limit to the western Lowellville corporation limit has various lane restrictions for striping. Estimated completion, late October 2025.

Trumbull County

Interstate 80 in Hubbard Township I-80 eastbound just west of the Pennsylvania State line has various lane restrictions for a pavement replacement project being overseen by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Motorists should expect delays in this area.

State Routes 46 & 82 Diverging Diamond Interchange, Howland Township NEW IMPACT –The Diverging Diamond Interchange at SR 46 and SR 82 is NOW OPEN. CONTINUING IMPACT — SR 46 under SR 82 may have occassional lane restrictions through early November. Estimated completion, early November 2025.

Elmwood Dr. resurfacing, Hubbard Elmwood Dr. between SR 304 and the northern Hubbard Corporation limit hasvarious lane restrictions for curb repairs and resurfacing. Estimated completion, early November 2025.
