Ohio is quickly emerging as one of the leading premier business hubs in the country and with this pro-business climate, it is not surprising that three Ohio-based corporations made Forbes’ Best Employers list.

How the Forbes’ ranks best employers

Forbes partners with Statista to independently survey over 300,000 employees worldwide. Employees anonymously rate their own companies on factors that contribute to a positive work culture, whether they would recommend their employer to family or friends.

These factors include:

  • Pay
  • Talent development
  • Remote work
  • Diversity
  • Corporate responsibility
  • Company image

The survey combines scores from the current year and the past two years, with more weight given to recent feedback and current employees.

Being a best employer means:

  • Excelling financial
  • Employee engagement
  • Culture
  • Benefits
  • Global reputation
