Austintown Fitch senior named QuestBridge Scholar, earns full scholarship
Austintown Fitch High School has announced that senior Lily Burns has been selected as a QuestBridge Scholar through the highly competitive National College Match program.
QuestBridge’s National College Match connects outstanding high school seniors with life-changing opportunities, including full four-year scholarships to some of the nation’s top colleges. This year, more than 25,500 students applied to the program.
Of those applicants, over 7,000 were named finalists, and only 2,600 students nationwide were ultimately matched with a partner college.
Burns is among the select group of scholars, earning a full-ride scholarship to Denison University through the match process.
Fitch Principal Salvatore Maiorana said this exceptional achievement reflects her academic excellence and commitment to her future.
“We are incredibly proud of Lily and all she has accomplished,” he said. “Earning a QuestBridge Match Scholarship is an extraordinary honor, and Lily represents the very best of Austintown Fitch.”
