“We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality care close to where they live and work. It’s more than a convenience—it’s a necessity,” said Ed Muransky, CEO of Southwoods Health. “Our commitment to Trumbull County ensures patients never have to choose between their health and their daily responsibilities. Expanding our network helps keep care local and patients healthier.”
Muransky said the expansion not only enhances access but also supports preventive care and early detection—two critical components in reducing long-term health risks and preventing unnecessary hospitalizations. He said by offering comprehensive, compassionate care within the community, Southwoods continues to close gaps in health equity and deliver meaningful, measurable improvements in patients’ overall health.
“These specialists join more than 30 Southwoods providers already dedicated to Trumbull County in primary care, gynecology and urology,” Muransky added. “The Southwoods Health network now includes over 300 providers caring for patients throughout the Mahoning Valley.”
