This is the best small town in Ohio to visit for Christmas, HGTV says. Here’s where & why
Christmastime is finally here and no matter where you are, there’s magic in the air.
All over the country, there are lavish light shows, parades, parties and more. But sometimes, a cozy small town Christmas is just the way to go.
HGTV recently made a list of the 50 best small towns to visit for Christmas and while the list highlights cities in Alaska, California and Colorado, there’s an Ohio town listed, too. Here’s what to know:
Best Ohio small town to visit for Christmas
According to the HGTV story, Medina, Ohio is one of the best small towns to visit for Christmas, but why?
Well, for starters: it has an incredible toyland.
“The world’s largest indoor Christmas toyland awaits at Medina’s Castle Noel. Inside, visitors will find Hollywood Christmas props from movies like Jingle All the Way, A Christmas Carol and Fred Claus along with breathtaking, New York-style animated Christmas windows from Bloomingdale’s, Sak’s Fifth Avenue and Macy’s,” according to Joe Sills with HGTV.
Medina is also recognized for its beautiful candlelight Christmas walks and Celtic Christmas performances. Visitors can even book a stay at an award-winning bed and breakfast to spend a cold winter night.
