Columbiana County Humane Society shelter manager opens spay/neuter clinic

In addition to being the newly-named shelter manager for the Columbiana County Humane Society, Fabian Pike is the president of a newly-opened spay and neuter clinic in Struthers.

Lemony Snippet is a nonprofit organization founded by Pike and Nicole Schultz to rescue animals in need, find pets their forever homes and safely promote Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return programs.

Their mission is to provide spay and neuter services to animal shelters in the Mahoning Valley area, as well as essential immunizations to dogs and cats.

The Lemony Snippet veterinary team celebrated operating in the new clinic with a ribbon-cutting in December alongside the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber at 653 Fifth St. in Struthers.

Lemony Snippet is accepting donations of canned dog and cat food, dry dog and cat food, collars, pet beds, blankets, towels and treats.

Donations can be dropped off at the clinic between 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday or at Dollar General on Rita Drive in Struthers.
