“By bringing our sleep lab testing facility, board-certified physicians and durable medical equipment together in one convenient location, we’ve created a one-stop shop that makes care easier and more accessible for our patients,” Aubel said. “We’re proud and excited to provide compassionate, comprehensive care that helps our patients rest easier and live healthier.”

Hospital leadership and community members recently celebrated the opening of the new comprehensive Mercy Health Boardman Sleep Medicine center.

The center features eight sleep study beds, which is an expansion from the previous six.

The Mercy Health Boardman Sleep Medicine center includes state-of-the-art equipment and an intentional design focused on creating a relaxing environment to better serve patients.

Board-certified physicians in multidisciplinary teams will evaluate, diagnose and treat patients in the new sleep center, which has soundproof walls and adjustable beds.
