The City of Youngstown has announced a garbage collection delay due to Winter Storm Fern

Officials said due to the impact of the storm on local landfill operations, garbage collection on Monday, Jan. 26, will be delayed until Tuesday, Jan. 27.

As a result, all garbage collection this week will operate on a day behind schedule.

The change is for the upcoming week only.

Thursday Friday To avoid being missed, residents are asked to place trash at the curb the evening before the scheduled pickup day.
