The Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley is inviting the community to a free Easter meal on Sunday, April 5, 2026. The meal will be served at 1300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Youngstown, Ohio, with free parking available at the rear of the building.

Attendees will enjoy a traditional Easter meal featuring ham, sweet potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls, and desserts.

Dinner will be served in two sessions: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“It’s a blessing as we celebrate our Savior Jesus Christ’s resurrection that we can serve a delicious meal in a beautiful facility thanks to Him,” said Mike Byers, Kitchen Director.

Lynn Wyant, CFRE, the Mission’s Chief Development Officer said the organization can’t wait to share how the community has come together to provide the Easter meal.

“Because of the Lord’s faithfulness and the kindness our Valley pours out on those who need our help at the Mission, meals like this are possible,” Wyant said. “To know that there is an Easter meal waiting for anyone who would like one is such a blessing. We can’t wait to share everything that our donors have provided.”

Wyant said the organization remains committed to serving those in need and is grateful for the generous support of our community.

A donation of $2.47 provides one meal for someone facing hunger.

‘Your contribution enables us to offer meals and shelter to up to 186 individuals each night,” Wyant said.
