YSU announces promotions for remainder of 2026 home baseball schedule

The Youngstown State baseball team will have a full slate of promotions for fans for its remaining 2026 home schedule at 717 Credit Union Field at Eastwood in Niles, Ohio.

Each of the Penguins’ seven scheduled home games remaining in 2026 will have a promotional element or giveaway item.

YSU’s 2026 home schedule is headlined by the second annual “Pack Eastwood” promotion for the game on Friday, May 1, against Northern Kentucky at 6 p.m. There will be free admission for all fans as the Penguins look to #PackEastwood to begin their three-game Horizon League series against the Norse. The game will feature a YSU Rally Towel Giveaway, and the YSU Pep Band will be in attendance to help cheer on the Penguins. The series opener with NKU on May 1 will also feature a Chick-Fil-A Sandwich Card Giveaway while supplies last.

There will be $4 16 oz. beer at the concession stands for Saturday games on May 2 and May 9. YSU’s series finale with NKU on May 3 will be a “Varsity Club Youngstown Sunday” with fans receiving a $5 off app coupon from the Varsity Club Youngstown if YSU scores five runs or more.

There will be several giveaway days as well at 717 Credit Union Field at Eastwood. Fans will receive a YSU flag at the game on May 2 and a YSU Pete Growth Chart on May 3. The game on May 6 against Eastern Michigan will be a “T-Shirt Wednesday” with the first 50 YSU fans receiving a YSU T-Shirt.

The game on Friday, May 8, against Milwaukee will be the annual Akron Children’s School Day Game with thousands of area students in attendance. There will be a Chick-Fil-A Sandwich Card Giveaway while supplies last on May 9. The regular season home finale against Milwaukee on Sunday, May 10, will feature a special celebration of Senior Day and Mother’s Day prior to first pitch.
