If you are one of the unlucky ones, you may start to wonder if the reason why you don’t win big is because of where you live. And a new study did just that.
The study by Planet 7 Casino found the number of winners in each US state over the last 20 years and ranked them.

If you’re feeling lucky in Ohio, you probably are because Ohio is among the top five states with the most jackpot winners since 2005.
“The state of Ohio comes in fourth place on the list, with 24 total winners – 19 from Mega Millions and 5 from Powerball. Ohio is one of several states where Mega Millions has proven to be the more fruitful game for jackpot seekers,” according to the study.
