Transformation of former Rite Aid pharmacy getting underway in Lisbon
A commercial building in one of Columbiana County’s villages will soon be transformed from a drug store pharmacy into a discount retail store.
Peter Wilson, the mayor of Lisbon, announced on Facebook that Dollar Tree is moving into the Rite Aid on State Route 45.
There’s no information yet on when the new Dollar Tree will open, but the building contains more than 10,000 square feet.
Three former Walgreens retail stores in the Mahoning Valley area are also on the market, according to Platz Realty Group.
The shuttered Walgreens at 2864 McCartney Road in Youngstown is available for $575,000 with 14,703 square feet.
The former 14,820-square-foot Walgreens at 40 N Meridian Road in Austintown was built in 2008 and is available for lease.
The final Walgreens up for sale is in western Pennsylvania at 900 East State St. in Sharon. It’s available for $1.2 million, according to Platz Realty Group.
