Fitness center in Columbiana County sells for $1.19 million to new owner
According to the Columbiana County Auditor’s property records, the Planet Fitness center building on State Route 14 in Salem has been acquired by a new owner.
The auditor’s website shows an LLC called 2340 E State St Salem purchased the property for $1.19 million on May 6 from Salem Realty Associates LLC.
The shopping center at 2340 E State St. in Salem housing the gym was constructed in 1973 with renovations in 2024, according to the auditor’s website.
The 19,002-square-foot property was home to True Value Hardware before Planet Fitness opened in 2025.
