12 food trucks lined up for 2-day Foodie Fest at Penguin City in Youngstown
It’s finally time for the first Foodie Fest, two days of live music, food, drinks and live boxing at Youngstown’s Penguin City Brewing Company in collaboration with Premium Shows of America.
Support local vendors at Foodie Fest, starting at noon until midnight on Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Penguin City in downtown Youngstown.
Twelve food trucks are confirmed for Foodie Fest, including:
- Wok on the Wild Side
- El Vallarta
- Tra’s Gourmet
- Antone’s
- Molnar Cinnamon Rolls
- Funnel Cakes
- Rutana’s Apple Dumplings
- Jenny’s Steak Hoagies
- Boardwalk Fries
- Vlahos Gyros
- Armida’s Cucina
Support local boxing by watching the Jack Loew and Southside Boxing presentation Outside the Lion’s Den with 12 matches scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on May 16.
One of the featured amateur boxers is Cardinal Mooney student Chris Vass.
In addition to boxing, RDNA is performing live starting at 9 p.m. on May 16. On Foodie Fest’s second day, the Infidels show is starting at 5 p.m. on May 17.
There’s no cover charge to enjoy the live music, but tickets for Outside the Lion’s Den on Saturday start at $25 for general admission and $50 for ringside. For tickets, call (330) 501-5713.
