Downtown Youngstown will offer a mix of live music, arts, culture and community events over the next week, including two concerts at Stambaugh Auditorium.

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra will perform “Inextinguishable” at 7:30 tonight at Stambaugh Auditorium. The program will feature Mussorgsky’s “Dawn on the Moskva River,” Anna Thorvaldsdottir’s “ARCHORA,” Mendelssohn’s “Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage” and Carl Nielsen’s Symphony No. 4, “The Inextinguishable.”

Music continues Sunday with the 2026 #LoveMusic Legacy Concert at 3 p.m. at Stambaugh Auditorium. Alumni, colleagues and friends of the late Dr. Stephen L. Gage will come together for a performance featuring orchestra and wind ensemble selections, including “Die Fledermaus,” “Robin Hood” and “Blue Shades.”

History of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley Restaurants, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Main Library, 305 Wick Ave. The lecture will explore the history of local restaurants and dining culture, including ethnic cuisine, corporate chains and iconic Valley establishments.

NEUR Networks: Connecting & Communicating for Creatives, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Concept Studio.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, a partner in advancing downtown redevelopment, said it continues to help connect businesses and organizations so local retailers, restaurants and bars can prepare for the city’s growing schedule of events.
