Across the state, businesses are honoring Ohio’s history, culture, and contributions during the nation’s 250th anniversary- including a small business based in Salem.

Lesley Kline is the owner of Kast Iron Soda Works, Salem’s small-batch craft soda shop and an official partner of America 250-Ohio.

“Being part of America’s 250th celebration in Ohio is an exciting and meaningful opportunity for us,” Kline said. “Our goal has always been to create something that brings people together. To see our sodas become part of gatherings and celebrations across the state is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Sodas are being sold by the case, which is 24 bottles of root beer or vanilla cola featuring the commemorative design on each bottle’s label. Pickup is available at 420 E. State St. in Salem; delivery is available within 25 miles of the soda shop or further for a fee.

Kline is working to connect with community event organizers and businesses across Ohio to supply the commemorative beverages for public events, local celebrations and retail locations.
