What to know about Full Spectrum Pride in the Mahoning Valley, Columbiana Pride
June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month, and Mahoning Valley communities area gearing up for annual festivals.
On June 13, head to Lisbon for the fourth annual Columbiana County Pride Festival from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Eleanor Acres.
Shows are happening on two stages throughout the day, with a main seating area both indoors and outdoors, featuring drag performers, local DJs and other community artists.
Fifty tables and local food trucks will be set up, featuring small business vendors, artists, community resource providers and local nonprofit organizations.
“We welcome queer folxs from across the Valley to unite to spread the love and share how we take care of each other in these trying times,” Columbiana County Pride wrote on Facebook.
Before Columbiana County Pride, organizers are also hosting a pre-celebration drag bingo on June 12 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Eleanor Acres’ event center.
The party continues at Cedars West End with an 18+ after-party drag show set to start at 6 p.m. on June 14 in Youngstown.
Over 100 vendors are expected to participate in the seventh annual Full Spectrum Pride in the Valley Festival on June 20 at Courthouse Square in downtown Warren.
Beginning at noon, the festival is free, family-friendly and serves as a fundraiser for Full Spectrum Community Outreach, supporting year-round programs and services that are open and accessible to all.
There are ten food trucks signed up to participate, a parade, free Iinflatables, children’s games and live entertainment.
Pride Youngstown is scheduled for June 27. Organizers are looking for financial support through GoFundMe in order to pay for stage set-up and sound.
