The owner is retiring and selling the property as-is which dates back to 1925 on North State Street, according to a Platz Realty Group listing.
Formerly home to Girard Book and News Stand, the two-story building has a total of 2,700 square feet with antique fixtures and hardwood floors.
The second floor is an attached apartment that’s been cleaned out but will need additional upgrades before renting out, according to the real estate agency.
On the online listing, the real estate agent said it’s an opportunity for the new owner to reenter the era of when the shopkeepers often lived in apartments nestled over their businesses, or they could rent out the apartment which is in an in-demand area.
