It is time to use your voice and vote for this year’s Mahoning Matters softball Player of the Year.

You can vote as many times as you like until the poll closes at noon on Sunday, June 7.

Alexis McKinstry, Cardinal Mooney High School - the freshman pitcher had a .426 batting average, 12 singles, six doubles, 11 home runs and 37 runs batted in.

Abby Toth, Austintown Fitch High School - prior to OHSAA Regionals, the senoir had a .608 batting average, 45 hits, 41 runs, 59 RBIs, 12 doubles and 15 home runs.

Addie Thurik, Beaver Local High School - the sophomore had a .455 batting average, 46 hits, 12 doubles, five home runs, 24 runs batted in and 43 runs.

Emma Davies, Ursuline High School - the sophomore had a .444 batting average, .512 on base percentage, five stolen bases, 32 hits and 25 runs as the lead-off hitter all year.
