While spending a weekend in downtown Warren, there are so many dining options to choose from, but if you want something fast, fresh and delicious, head to Gordo’s.

In February, Gordo’s Authentic Street Tacos opened close to Dave Grohl Alley in Warren, expanding into northeast Ohio from their first restaurant in New Castle, Penn.

I ordered two tacos with carne asada, topped with onion, cilantro, corn, cheese and a splash of lime.

Just a few steps from Gordo’s Authentic Street Tacos, the first day of the Trumbull County African American Heritage Festival was underway, making it the perfect backdrop for my Friday lunch break.

If you’re not planning on traveling to Warren, Gordo’s Food Trailer is hitting local spots throughout the summer serving up fresh, flavorful, made-from-scratch tacos you won’t forget.

On Tuesdays, tacos are available all day for $2 each. Gordo’s serves burritos, quesabirria, quesadillas and burrito bowls, plus a full bar.
