Raymond John Wean Foundation invites Mahoning Valley to bike tour, night market
Wheels up and roll out — Mahoning Valley residents should prepare to “fly” down the streets in Warren and Youngstown next month.
The Raymond John Wean Foundation will hold a neighborhood bike tour on Thursday, July 16, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participants can expect to hear from community leaders about local change while riding in tandem together.
The free excursion will provide an electric bike, helmet and refreshments. Participants must be at least 18 years old and can indicate their preferred city during registration. Placement will be based on availability.
Registration closes on Friday, June 26, or once all spots have been filled. More information regarding the starting location and specific route will follow.
Both tours in Warren and Youngstown will finish at a night market at Avon Oaks Ballroom in Girard. The Wean Foundation invites all residents to attend the free outdoor event, which will include local vendors, handmade goods, produce, food, music and more.
The market will run from 5-9 p.m., and residents aren’t required to register.
