Football season is around the corner and communities are once again looking forward to being in the stands cheering on their teams.
As players prepare to hit the field, the Mahoning Matters newsroom wants to know who will be the player to watch this season.
Take a look at these dynamic Mahoning Valley student-athletes and vote for which one you will keep eyes on this year.

M’Kyan Haynes, United High School - the incoming senior had 91 tackles six tackles for loss and 86 rushes for 772 yards last season.
Deon’Dray Richard, Austintown Fitch High School - the incoming senior had 1204 yards rushing, 13 rushing touchdowns, 7.7 yards per carry, eight Receptions, 85 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown last season.
Tommie Brown, United High School - the incoming senior had 120 rushes 1,190 yards and 35/54 passing for 611 yards last season.
Peyton Cowdery, Beaver Local High School - the incoming junior, who plays middle linebacker and running back, had 110 tackles and scored six touchdowns as a backup running back last season.
Vinnie Feco, Ursuline High School - the incoming senior had 39 carries for 168 rushing yards and one touchdown in the 2024 football season.
Levi Lucas, United High School - the incoming senior had 30 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks last season.
Ashton Pascarella, Struthers High School - the incoming junior had 865 passing yards for seven touchdowns, 375 rushing yards for three touchdowns, 46 tackles and three tackles for a loss last season.
