Football season is just around the corner, along with halftime performances, and soon communities will once again find themselves under the Friday Night Lights.
As marching bands hit the field for practices, the Mahoning Matters newsroom wants to know who will be the band to watch this season.
Take a look at these amazing Mahoning Valley bands and vote for which one you will keep your eyes on this year.

South Range High School: Gained national recognition by winning first place in the small school category of Metallica’s “For Whom The Band Tolls” Marching Band Competition.
Boardman High School: Consistently recognized in local polls as a favorite, boasting a large and highly decorated program.
Austintown Fitch High School: Known for its massive, energetic “Falcon” marching band and strong community following.
Niles McKinley High School: A perennial fan favorite that frequently leads regional reader’s choice polls.
Lakeview High School: Known as “The Pride of Cortland,” this band draws significant community votes.
Hubbard High School: Widely celebrated in the Valley for their “blue and white” pride and strong halftime shows.
Liberty High School: A highly active band that performs at iconic venues like Cedar Point and Walt Disney World.
