Daughter pins mother against garage with car, killing her, Ohio cops say
An Ohio woman was arrested after police say she used her car to fatally pin her mother up against a garage wall.
On the morning of June 15, Miami Township Police were called to a home for a domestic situation between a mother and daughter, according to a Facebook post.
Officials later identified the daughter as Anna Millette, 23, and the mother as Joyce Millette, 64.
Police say Anna Millette used a vehicle to pin Joyce Millette up against a garage wall.
“As officers arrived, trying to break out the vehicle windows to free the woman, the driver reversed and struck two officers,” police said.
Police body camera footage shows an officer trying to get into the vehicle while it was still in the garage. The officer yells, “stop, stop,” and the car reverses.
An officer chased after Anna Millette, who eventually crashed, according to police. Officers used a stun gun on her and took her into custody.
Joyce Millette died from her injuries, police said. Anna Millette is charged with murder and felonious assault.
The two officers who were struck had minor injuries.
Miami Township is a 25-mile drive northeast of Cincinnati.
