Zaxby’s is adding a never-before-seen menu item, but not for long.

New chicken finger tacos arrive Monday, July 8, at participating Zaxby’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time, according to the Georgia-based chicken chain.

Customers can choose from two varieties: chipotle ranch with pico and avocado ranch BLT. It’s the first time tacos have been offered on the restaurant’s menu.

“Nothing is better than bringing two popular food items everyone loves together in our latest innovation,” Patrick Schwing, chief marketing and strategy officer for Zaxby’s, said in a news release.

The chipotle ranch taco features a Zaxby’s chicken finger topped with shredded lettuce, cheddar jack cheese, pico de gallo and mild Chipotle Ranch sauce in a warm tortilla, the restaurant said in the release.

The avocado BLT version is also made with a chicken finger and is topped with roma tomatoes, hickory-smoked bacon, shredded lettuce and avocado ranch sauce, a product description reads.

The new offerings are a first for the chicken chain, but they’re not the only new menu additions.

Those in search of something sweet can try the new fried cheesecake bites featuring cream cheese cheesecake battered, fried and served with strawberry dipping sauce, the release said.

Zaxby’s chicken finger tacos are available for a limited time, though the chain didn’t say for how long. Pricing varies by location.
