Former Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox’s custom home is for sale. Take a look
Former Sacramento Kings All-Star point guard De’Aaron Fox and his wife, Recee, on Monday listed their refined home with a beautiful backyard garden for $3.1 million.
The custom-designed home sits on a well-landscaped, 1.13-acre lot in a tony enclave of Carmichael, a suburb of Sacramento, California.
With five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the contemporary, immaculate and gated estate is a fusion of sophistication, style and comfort across all of its 5,500 square feet of living space.
Earlier this year, the Kings basketball team traded Fox to the San Antonio Spurs as part of a three-team deal that also involved the Chicago Bulls. In the trade, Fox joined forces with rising star Victor Wembanyama in San Antonio.
Under soaring ceilings, the home flows indoors to outdoors from the grand entry out to the covered patio and centerpiece pool. Oversized sliding glass doors open the home up for seamless entertaining.
Listing agent Kelly Pleasant of Guide Real Estate said the home’s design allows family members or guests to enjoy distinct living areas without ever feeling crowded. There are dual primary suites, each with spa-style bathrooms. One side of the house encompasses additional bedrooms and a flex room that can be used as an office, den, media room or gym.
“This is a perfect gift for a buyer who is really wanting that separation,” Pleasant said.
The home features multiple fireplaces and hardwood and stone floors.
There’s a four-car garage with plenty of storage and an EV charger. The drive-through garage accesses the interior by way of a mudroom.
The gourmet kitchen is well-appointed with high-end appliances, a large quartz waterfall island and pantry and is equipped with a service kitchen.
The grounds have spaces that offer opportunities to add amenities, such as a chef’s garden or accessory dwelling unit (ADU).
Fox, a 27-year-old father of two, bought the home in 2020 for $2.325 million, according to public records. The house was built in 2016.
Fox played basketball for the University of Kentucky during the Wildcats’ 2016-2017 season. The Kings selected him in the first round on the NBA draft, with the fifth overall pick, in 2017. Fox averaged 21.2 points per game and 6.1 assists per game during his time in Sacramento, according to NBA.com.
