Urban Meyer to headline Men’s Mental Health Expo at Ohio State University

Legendary former Ohio State Head Coach, current Fox Sports personality, and host of The Triple Option podcast Urban Meyer will headline a Men’s Mental Health Expo at Ohio State University. Alongside Urban Meyer, Ohio State Head Wrestling Coach Tom Ryan and Ohio State Co-Defensive Coordinator Tim Walton will speak at the Expo.

The event will also feature behavioral health leaders Oyauma Garrison, President & CEO of Maryhaven, and Tony Coder, Executive Director of the The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.

Attendees can expect keynote presentations, food and drink provided, door prizes, and the chance to win scholarship awards.

According to the American Journal of Men’s Health, six million U.S. men experience depression annually. Mental Health America reports nearly 1 in 10 face depression or anxiety, yet less than half seek treatment.

Discussions at the Men’s Mental Health Expo will foster community, challenge stigma, and promote open, honest dialogue on men’s mental health.

The event is facilitated by Obie Stillwell, former Ohio State football player and facilitator of important community conversations through Obie’s Breakfast Club, a speaker series bringing together diverse voices throughout the city of Columbus.
