Will Ohio have a mild fall? Here’s what Old Farmer’s Almanac, National Weather Service say
It’s almost time to trade the hot summer days for cooler fall weather in Ohio.
Fall is on its way and so are flannel shirts, pumpkin patches, scary movie marathons and football season. But how will an Ohio fall feel this year?
Here’s what we know:
What the Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts
Overall, the Old Farmer’s Almanac “is predicting a warmer-than-normal autumn this year” in much of the country. However, it looks like Ohio will have cooler than average temperatures this fall.
As far as rainfall this fall, get your rain boots and umbrellas ready. The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicted above average rainfall totals for Ohio.
What the NWS says
The National Weather Service (NWS) has a long-range forecast for three months (August to October) and for those months, the NWS predicted slightly above average temperatures in Ohio. The NWS also predicted Ohio will have near normal rainfall this fall.
What Accuweather experts say
Accuweather meteorologists have already predicted a warm fall, much like Farmer’s Almanac and NWS experts.
“Fall is going to feel more like an extended summer for millions of Americans this year,” said Paul Pastelock, AccuWeather lead long-range meterologist.
Get ready to shed some layers this fall because this warming trend includes Ohio. Accuweather predicted the state will have above average temperatures, some of which could reach three degrees higher than normal.
