NEWTON FALLS — Carol S. King, 75, passed away Wednesday (Aug. 25) at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
She was born on April 26, 1946 in Detroit, the daughter of Andrew and Sue (Petricko) King.
She was a 1964 graduate of Newton Falls High School.
Carol worked at ITT Grinell. She later worked at Delphi Packard from which she retired.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary and St. Joseph Church.
In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and bargain hunting.
She was a past president on the Verlay Condominiums Association.
Cherished memories of Carol will be carried on by her brothers Richard (Susan) King of Warren and Terry (Sheryl) King of Williamsville, N.Y.; nephews Joshua, Justin, Jacob and Rick King; an aunt, Marge Simon; and cousins Cheryl and Paul Simon.
Preceding Carol in death were her parents.
Family and friends may call Sunday (Aug. 29) from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls where a brief service will follow at 6 p.m.
The family invites all attendees to join them at after the service Roby Lee's Restaurant to continue the celebration of Carol's life.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Bernard P. Borowski Memorial Home is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the St. Joseph Cemetery Fund.
