James Gresko

January 24, 1972 ~ September 18, 2021 (age 49)

James E. "Jimmy" Gresko, 49 of Girard, Ohio entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Windsor House Liberty, following a brief illness. Jimmy was born the son of Charles "Chuck" and Kathryn "Babe" (Regich) Gresko on January 24, 1972, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a self-employed construction worker and a lifetime area resident.

Jimmy was a 1990 graduate of McDonald High School and a graduate Mount Union College. He played football for McDonald in his high school years and then later for Mount Union College. While at Mount Union he achieved the National Championship. Jimmy will be remembered for his stories with his close friends and family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Kathryn "Babe" Gresko of McDonald, Ohio; sister Patty A. Courtney of McDonald, Ohio; niece "Joey" Courtney of Indianapolis, Indiana; and nephew Dakotah Courtney of McDonald, Ohio.

Preceding him in death is his father, Charles "Chuck" Gresko, and a brother, Charles F. "Chuckie" Gresko.

Per Jimmy's wishes cremation will take place, and no services will be held.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown, Ohio.
