Jeannine M. (McCann) Walizer
Sept. 1, 1934 — April 8, 2021 (age 86)
ALLIANCE — Jeannine McCann Walizer, 86, passed away April 8 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.
Jeannine was born Sept. 1, 1934 in Salem, the daughter of Harry Bertolette McCann and Alta Eliza (Ritchie) McCann.
She lived in the Alliance area her entire life.
She graduated from Sebring High School class of 1952. While in high school, she worked at Spot Dairy.
Jeannine also worked at Royal China, Morgan Engineering Co., Alliance Machine, Kerma Corporation and alongside her husband at Walizer Shell Service Station.
Jeannine is survived by her husband, Franklin Dean Walizer of Crandall Medical Center whom she married Jan. 14, 1977.
She also is survived by her children Joseph David (LuAnn Shuster) Tucker of Lakewood, Dr. Patricia (Matthew Lansell) Tucker of Alliance and Mark Tucker of Alliance; stepsons Darryl Walizer of Alliance and Craig (Tina) Walizer of Indianapolis; grandchildren Kellianne Tucker, Sarah Shuster-Tucker, Allison Lansell, Amanda (Derek Wojcik) Lansell, David Shuster-Tucker, JennaLee (Kyle) Simon, Griffin Walizer and Korina Tucker; and great-grandchildren Gavin Abbott, Jameson Curry, Mia Rose Walizer and Luca Eakins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Harry "Duke" McCann and Jack F. McCann; and a sister-in law, Phyllis M. McCann.
Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring is handling arrangements, including cremation. She will be interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a later date.
Jeannine's family would like to thank her caregivers at Crandall Medical Center, Aultman Hospice Care and Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home.
Jeannine will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
