SOUTHINGTON — Lloyd Charles Frost, 71, peacefully passed away early Sunday (July 4) at his residence surrounded by loved ones.

He was the wonderful husband of Diana Frost. They shared 50 beautiful years together.

Born in Pueblo, Colorado Aug. 18, 1949, Lloyd "Dick" was the son of Lloyd and Alice Shepherd Frost.

He graduated from Centennial High School in 1967 and then joined the U.S. Air Force. As a sergeant, he was assigned in the security police K-9 unit in U-Tapao, Thailand, with his pooch, Brutus.

From 1982-87, Lloyd successfully operated his own business, Frost Line Insulation.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycling.

He always taught the value of family.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Frost; his children Julie Frost, Brian Frost, Gregory Frost, Summer Frost and Daniel Frost; and his grandchildren Samantha Frost, Victoria Frost, Jacob Frost, Kayla Smith, Adam Frost, Austin Smith and Nathan Frost.

A funeral service with military honors will be held Monday (July 12) at 10 a.m. with family and friends at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls is handling arrangements.
