BOARDMAN — Margaret Ann (Ciszewski) Richardson, 73, more frequently known as Peggy, passed away on Sept. 19.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1947, to Stephen and Mary Ciszewski of Como Street in Struthers.
A lifelong resident of Mahoning County, she graduated from Struthers High School and pursued a degree in education at Youngstown State University. While a Penguin, she was an active member of the sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma, and she enjoyed meeting with those collegiate friends well into her adult life.
She was a baker for The Sugar Plum Shoppe, The Italian Baking Company and Maggie's Magic Muffin House.
She raised her four children in Boardman: Nicole Welsh (Joseph) of Munroe Falls, Jennifer Kinnick (Mark) of Lake Milton, Matthew Richardson and Joshua Richardson, both of Boardman.
She leaves behind her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her beloved first grandchild and best friend was Victoria Richardson-Kinnick, with whom she had a standing weekly matinee movie date. Her other grandchildren are Dakotah Welsh, Cheyenne Welsh, Vance Kinnick and Craig Kinnick Brown (April) of Tennessee, who provided her only great-grandchildren while she was alive, Ellen and Josephine.
She is also survived by her only brother, Stephen Ciszewski, and a niece Dana Ciszewski.
She joins in heaven, her parents, Stephen and Mary Ciszewski; her son, Vincent Richardson; her sisters-in-law Stephany Ciszewski, Veronique Parker and Vicky Menough; and her best friend, Peggy Lozano.
There were no calling hours or funeral services due to the current pandemic.
