Buses help send message to Boardman’s graduating seniors

BOARDMAN — Boardman Local Schools buses were used to drive home support for graduating seniors.

At 10 a.m. May 26, 57 buses, three vans and the maroon marching band bus were positioned to spell out "SENIORS ♥ 20." The message was captured by a drone flyover.

Boardman school buses also will be driving through neighborhoods this week.

"More than 50 bus drivers will be running their routes to keep up their driving skills and to say goodbye to their students and wish them a happy summer," Ryan Dunn, district transportation director, said in a news release. "It will also help them run the buses for maintenance purposes — to keep the fleet in shape."
