UPDATE | High School Valley All-Star Classic rescheduled for Wednesday due to weather

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will host the seventh annual High School Valley All-Star Classic at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Eastwood Field in Niles.

The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed due to the weather, a news release states.

The all-star game will feature high school players from the Mahoning Valley. Struthers baseball coaches will lead the Mahoning County team, and Mathews coaches will lead the Trumbull County team. Rosters for both teams can be viewed below.

Tickets for the game are $5 and can be purchased here, at the Chevy All Stars Box Office at Eastwood Field or by calling 330-505-0000.

The Scrappers also announced Monday that the team is partnering with the DeBartolo Corp. to reward Valley students for good grades. During the Tickets for A’s promotion, students can present their report cards at the Chevy All-Stars Box Office and receive a free general admission ticket for every A for this weekend’s games against the West Virginia Black Bears.
