MIKE BROWN: Alliance gets new turfed baseball field

Mahoning County baseball teams that have scheduled Alliance this season will notice a big change when they play on the road against the Aviators.

Alliance recently installed a beautiful new all turf baseball playing surface in their home stadium, called Craven Field.

Alliance head baseball coach and interim athletic director, Jeff Graffice is thrilled with the new playing surface.

Alliance could likely become an attractive neutral site tourney option in future years for the OHSAA, being that it’s centrally located between Canton and Youngstown.
