Poland third-grade class sends injured Browns star Nick Chubb a get-well video

McKinley Elementary third-graders in the Poland Local School District worked together to send their best wishes to an injured Cleveland Browns star.

Teacher Katie Herdman, a lifelong Browns fan, said they decided to send get-well cards and recorded a video sharing their best wishes to Nick Chubb after his apparent season-ending knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“The students shared stories about their family’s (liking the Browns) and (some) wore their Chubb jerseys,” she said.

Herdman said even students who like the Pittsburgh Steelers took and found ways to connect with him.

She said the students were excited when Chubb liked the initial post from the school on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter. In addition, Chubb’s publicist sent Herdman an email thanking her for the video.

On Monday, the Cleveland Browns account also shared the video.
