We’ll find out just how much Ohio State’s football team has improved when they host Penn State Saturday at noon in the horseshoe in Columbus.

The third-ranked Buckeyes are 6-0 and have shown steady improvement from the beginning of the season, but outside of Notre Dame, the schedule hasn’t been overwhelming.

Sixth-ranked Penn State, which is 6-0, offers the most high-powered offense the Buckeyes have faced so far, so the OSU defense will be tested.

This will be a Homecoming of sorts for Penn State quarterback Drew Allar, a former Ohio Mr. Football from Medina High School.

The Buckeyes have dominated Penn State in the series, winning the past six straight meetings. Ohio State owns a 23-14 overall lead in the series.
