Santino Rivera-Ocasio wins Mahoning Valley football Athlete of the Week for Week 12
Santino Rivera-Ocasio is the Week 12 winner of the Mahoning Valley football Athlete of the Week.
He ran for 252 yards and two touchdowns to lead Lowellville past Western Reserve, 32-7.
Other nominees included:
- Christian Lynch: Scored the game-winning touchdown to lead Ursuline past Canfield, 16-13.
- Blake Ewert: Ran for two touchdowns to lead South Range past Ridgewood, 35-0.
- Jason Dukes: Ran for two touchdowns and intercepted a pass to lead Struthers past Poland, 14-9.
- Boston Mulinix: Ran for 143 yards and a touchdown to lead West Branch past Streetsboro, 31-28.
- Owen Shingledecker: Threw for 78 yards and a touchdown to lead Mineral Ridge past Rootstown, 17-9.
