The winner of this game would play the No. 1 seed Oregon Ducks (13-0) in the Rose Bowl game set for 5 p.m. Jan. 1, 2025, in Pasadena, CA.

The last time OSU played Tennessee, the year was 1996 and the Vols won the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, 20-14.
