Baseball season is here - it is time to use your voice and vote for who will be Mahoning Valley’s baseball player to watch this year.

Bobby Johnson, Chaney High School - the senior, who plays pitcher and shortstop, had a .350 batting average and a 3.4 earned run average.
Avery Young, Columbiana High School - the sophomore, who plays pitcher and shortstop, was a Honorable Mention EOAC as a freshman.
Montgomery Hart, Warren G. Harding High School - the sophomore, who plays pitcher and infield had a .350 batting average, a 1.96 earned run average and was first team all conference AAC.
Kaden Reese, Cardinal Mooney High School - the sophomore centerfielder had a .299 batting average, 14 runs, and a .96 fielding percentage.
Cale Moraski, East Palestine High School - the senior, who plays pitcher and shortstop, led the team with a .415 batting average, .500 on base percentage, 17, and 12 stolen bases.
Anthony Triveri, Ursuline High School - the senior, who plays pitcher and shortstop, had a .310 batting average, 26 hits, nine runs batted in, 22 runs, and 17 walks.
Brennen Klasovsky, South Range High School - the junior, who plays pitcher and third base, had a .368 batting average, .420 on base percentage, 28 hits, and 21 runs batted in.
Josue Rodriguez, Campbell Memorial High School - the senior, who plays infielder and pitcher, was a 2024 Honorable Mention All MVAC.
Anthony Perry, West Branch High School - the senior, who plays pitcher and third base, had a .455 batting average, 31 runs batted in, .995 earned run average, and was the winning pitcher for the State Championship Game.
Zachary Davis, Crestview High School - the senior, who plays pitcher and shortstop, had 20 innings pitched, a 3.0 earned run average and was First Team All MVAC.
Grayson Eicher, Boardman High School - the senior, who plays first base and outfield, had a .326 batting average, 28 hits, 11 runs batted in,k 10 runs, 11 stolen bases and was 2024 Second Team All AAC.
Michael Scavnicky, Struthers High School - the junior, who plays first base and pitcher, had .371 batting average, .423 on-base percentage, .457 slugging percentage, and let the team in hits with 26.
