NFL Fans Heartbroken For AJ Terrell After Losing Aunt In Tragedy
Atlanta Falcons cornerbacks AJ and Avieon Terrell received devastating news this week regarding their aunt, Giselle Perry.
At around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, a routine trip to the grocery store in Georgia turned into a nightmare when a driver plowed their car into another vehicle. The impact from this collision sent the parked car onto the sidewalk. Giselle Perry, the 49-year-old woman who was just innocently sitting in her car, died at the scene of the crash.
"Perry's husband said she had dropped her mother off at the Kroger earlier and was waiting for her outside the store when the crash happened," WSB-TV reported. "Police said another driver hit Perry's car. The crash impact sent the cars onto the sidewalk. Someone walking outside the store was also hit."
Shortly after Perry passed away, AJ Terrell posted this message online: "I'm torn, Aunty. Heart is heavy, I love you."
AJ's younger brother, Avieon, also paid tribute to his aunt on Instagram.
Prayers pouring in for the family.
Unsurprisingly, NFL fans have sent kind messages to AJ and Avieon on social media this Friday.
"Just a terrible tragedy for the Terrell family," one person commented. "Praying for them."
"Losing a loved one so suddenly is a pain no one should know. Sending strength to the brothers as they navigate this tragedy," a second fan wrote on X.
"Such a painful reminder that life can change in an instant. Praying for strength and comfort for AJ and Avieon Terrell and their entire family during this devastating loss," another fan said.
"That's so heartbreaking," a social media user added. "Condolences to the Terrell family. Senseless tragedy."
We're keeping Perry's loved ones in our thoughts.
