Final Injury Report for Liberty-Fire: Will Satou Sabally, Sabrina Ionescu Play?

The New York Liberty are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Portland Fire in an interconference matchup.

New York enters Thursday's game with a 2-1 record after losing on the road to Portland on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday's loss to the Fire, Pauline Astier led the way for the Liberty as she recorded 24 points, five rebounds and three assists while Breanna Stewart added 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks of her own.

Now New York will try to bounce back on Thursday as they face off against the Fire on the road once again.

On the other side, Portland enters Thursday's contest with a 1-1 record after defeating the Liberty at home on Tuesday night.

Bridget Carleton led the way for the Fire in Tuesday's victory as she ended the game with 26 points and four steals while Carla Leite recorded 21 points, four rebounds and six assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night's matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

Liberty Injury Report: Will Sabrina Ionescu, Satou Sabally Play?

For the Liberty, they have six players listed on their injury report, including both Sabrina Ionescu and Satou Sabally.

New York has ruled out Ionescu due to a left foot injury as she will miss her fourth straight game to begin the season and she is expected to be sidelined for at least one more week.

The Liberty have also ruled out Sabally as she is away from the team due to a cyst as she remainder sidelined to begin the season.

Marine Fauthoux has also been ruled out due to recovery from left knee surgery while Raquel Carrera and Leonie Fiebich are both away from the team.

Rebecca Allen has been listed as questionable due to a left foot injury and there is a chance she could make her season debut on Thursday.

Fire Injury Report: Will Carla Leite Play?

On the other side, the Fire have three players listed on their injury report for Thursday's matchup, including Leite.

Portland has listed Leite as questionable due to a right ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her first game of the season, though she was able to play through the injury on Tuesday.

The Fire have listed Sug Sutton as questionable due to a right knee injury while Karlie Samuelson has been ruled out with a foot injury.
