Do Eagles Already Have an A.J. Brown Trade Ready to Go?

It’s another day, and that means yet another rumor is brewing over Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown. He’s been the subject of trade buzz for months now, and the talk isn’t slowing down.

Even though Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has claimed that he doesn’t want to trade Brown, it’s still very possible. The New England Patriots, of course, are one of the team heavily thought to be interested in a trade for Brown, and it’s starting to feel likely.

Now, ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler is saying that he believes the Eagles and Patriots have already agreed to a trade package and they’re just waiting waiting until June 1 to do the final deal.

“My best guess is that they already agreed to something loosely,” stated during an appearance on 97.5 The Fan. “They can always tweak that or rework it, but they’re probably getting a [first-round pick], maybe a future [first], maybe it’s a 2028 [pick]. I don’t think they’ll get more than that, I think that would be the max at this point, I’d be surprised [if it’s more].”

Fowler also said that the Eagles may be looking to be getting more in the trade but that it probably won’t happen.

“Philly once upon a time hoped for a [first] and a [second], I just don’t see that happening,” Fowler said. “Maybe they can get creative and swap some mid-to-late-round picks to sweeten it up.”

Now, things can change by June 1, but it’s starting to look more inevitable that this Brown trade will finally become a reality.
