Cam Boozer's Family Steals the Show During 2026 NBA Draft
Cam Boozer is a top three NBA Draft pick.
The former Duke Blue Devils star went No. 3 overall to the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday evening. Boozer, arguably the best and most dominant player in all of college basketball last season, went behind A.J. Dybantsa at No. 1 overall and Darryn Peterson at No. 2 overall.
Shortly after getting picked, Cam Boozer was joined by his family, as they celebrated his selection live on the ESPN broadcast.
"I don't even know how to describe it honestly, man. ... It's my moment, but it's our moment as a family," he said.
Carlos Boozer was married to his wife, CeCe Boozer, from 2003-15. The couple has three sons together.
CeCe Boozer turned heads in her black suit and gold shoes on the NBA Draft broadcast on Tuesday evening.
Cam Boozer sends NBA teams a 'warning'
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft made it clear that he believes teams could regret not selecting him higher.
"Many years down the line, people are gonna look back and say I should've been," he said live on the broadcast.
Unsurprisingly, there are critics, like Skip Bayless.
"Love his dad but don't love-love Cameron Boozer in the NBA. Just not that explosively athletic. But he is a very good, extremely well taught basketball player who will give you all he has every night and provide solid leadership," he wrote.
The 2026 NBA Draft, meanwhile, is continuing to air live on ESPN on Tuesday evening.
