Olivia Miles Draws 'Generational' Praise From WNBA All-Star
Olivia Miles turned a lot of heads with her performance against the Phoenix Mercury on Monday. She dominated on the offensive end, drawing praise from fans and her teammates, including Kayla McBride.
Miles finished with a career-high 33 points, along with three rebounds and eight assists in the Minnesota Lynx's 104-100 win. She shot 10-of-16 from the field, including five three-pointers.
McBride, on the other hand, recorded a season-high 37 points built on six triples, with six rebounds, four steals and two blocks. She had nothing but praise for her backcourt partner, calling herself a fan of the "generational" talent.
"Generational, you know what I mean?" said the five-time All-Star. "It's so competitive. Boys, just one of one. Just watching her go out here and do her thing, continue to learn, continue to grow and just having a lot of fun. She's still just a kid, and so we just want to keep lifting her up, keep helping her, doing whatever we got to do. But it's just fun to watch right now. I'm a fan."

The TCU product entered the WNBA as the No. 2 pick this year. While first overall pick Azzi Fudd is also making some noise, Miles is widely considered the favorite for the Rookie of the Year award.
She is averaging 19.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game. Miles has been a big reason why the Lynx have the best record in the league. They are 18-6 and look poised to claim the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
