Stop by the Eastwood Mall to visit one of the Mahoning Valley’s favorite family-owned clothing brands officially open for business in their second retail location.
McClure described the Youngstown Clothing Company as a clothing store specializing in local pride, from Youngstown State, Ohio State, and Kent State apparel to “Made in the USA” Mahoning Valley-inspired clothes, like graphic T- shirts, fleece coats and hats.
The company started with a website launch in March of 2016 and opened its first retail location a few months later as a holiday pop-up kiosk inside the Southern Park Mall.
“The seasonal pop-up became a full-time in-line store location in October of 2019. We still have our store inside the Southern Park Mall,” he said. “We are a family-owned and operated local business that sheds a positive light on the people, places, and all other things that make this area such a special place to call home.”

This week, stop by the Youngstown Clothing Company in the Eastwood Mall, one of the Mahoning Valley’s favorite family-owned clothing brands. Matt McClure
McClure said when they first started Youngstown Clothing Company, they wanted to work with local business owners, charities and nonprofits.
“What we came up with is called the ‘Yonation Jar,’” McClure said. “This is a collection of shirts that we design and sell for many local businesses. 10% of all shirt sales go directly to the charity of each business’s choosing.”
Mahoning Valley businesses featured in the Yonation Jar collection are Handel’s Ice Cream, Mill Creek Metroparks, Dirusso’s Sausage, The Canfield Fair and White House Fruit Farms.
“Some of the charities and non profits include the United Way, Second Harvest Food Bank, Rescue Mission and the Canfield Fair Foundation, just to name a few,” he said. “To date we have raised over $240,000 since we started the Yonation Jar in 2018.”
Visit the new Youngstown Clothing Company store at 5555 Youngstown Warren Road Unit 656 in Niles, and follow the company’s social media for updates about an official grand opening celebration coming in December.
“We take so much pride in the fact that the Mahoning Valley is such a family oriented place where people look out for one another and that was a pillar that we wanted YCC to be founded on,” McClure said.
